Turkish buttons have been used to close garments from the Caucasus Mountains in the 10th century to even adorning the kaftans of Sulayman the Magnificent. Come learn the basic basket weave for these decorative buttons and take one home.
This class is for mature teens and adults able to thread a needle and work individually with some guided instruction.
Note: Hands-on portion of this class will accommodate up to 10 students but all are welcome to observe and ask questions.
Students should bring note taking supplies and scissors.
Cost: Donations to help defray cost of supplies are welcome but not required.
