Domna Liutgard of Luxeuil, OL. is a late 8th century noblewoman of Alemannic and Austrasian ancestry, who is a scholar and teacher in the court of Charles the Great. She spends a good deal of time arguing with Alcuin, mostly about St Augustine. She has been in the SCA since 1989, and been teaching a variety of classes from the beginning. She was so inspired by the extended learning in the SCA, she went back to school, focusing on the Medieval Studies program at University of Oregon. Her interests are on the Carolingians and the Court of Charlemagne, and also in Medieval law and theology.
