Isabella de FirenzeOlympic Room
Indigo dye is a global phenomenon - from India, to Japan, to both North and South America, indigo-producing plants have been grown and used to make the most gorgeous shades of blue. This class will explore the history of indigo as well as the science and theory behind what goes on in an indigo dye vat in order to provide a deeper understanding to the dyeing process. Hopefully after leaving this class you will have the knowledge to tackle your own indigo dye projects!
