All The World’s A Stage: Cosplay is not new, we’ve just rebranded it and trivialized it in modern life. It played a much more central role to the social, spiritual, mystical life of people within the timeline of the SCA. While I will focus on how early theater relied heavily on many of the same storytelling techniques when presenting costumes that we now use when executing cosplay creations. We will touch on how to keep cost down while still maximizing visual. Impact in as period-accurate a way as possible.
