Glass: Advanced Bead Making (part 1 of 2)

Note: this class is scheduled from 1:00 PM - 2:50 PM and will not have a break between sessions
This class will teach you how to create more complex historical bead designs. Stringer control, creating shaped beads using a marver and other tools. The class will cover making and applying twisted cane. Applying murrini, how to stack dots and create feathered or (raked) beads. This class is best suited for an experienced bead maker.
You keep all the beads that you make!
There will be a historical bead furnace and bellows set up for you to check out as well so you can see how beads were made long ago!
Class fee is $10.00 per person for use of torches and materials. You will receive a handout as well.
