You may have heard of einkorn, spelt, and bread wheats, but what makes them different botanically? In this class we will review the origins and domestication of various grains and the different types of wheats. Then, we explore the botanical differences between them and growing/harvesting aspects. Stories of your experience cooking with these different types of wheat are welcome! Examples of the different wheats will be available to pass around the room.
